Wellesley Chapter History

Founded in 2010 by Cheryl Lamee, and a small group of charter members, the Wellesley chapter has quickly blossomed into a vibrant and active membership of over 300 mothers and daughters fulfilling the values and serving our communities in ways that enrich our lives and the lives of others.

Before relocating to Wellesley, Cheryl Lamee, had been a member of an NCL chapter in Texas.  Inspired by the organization, she resolved to develop a chapter in her new home, emailing several new friends to join her in this endeavor.  In the years since, this organization has attracted many young women and mothers and provided a unique opportunity to forge bonds and make a difference.

Our chapter works with up to 26 local philanthropies each year, and continues to foster mother-daughter relationships through our commitment to community service, leadership development, and cultural awareness.
